Since the other site decided to remove threads dealing with the recent NOVA news. I thought that I would invite a few people over to discuss what is going on. If you are not interested in what is happening with NOVA and the future collapse of the company, that's fine. but if you are on either side of the fence we would like to hear what you have to say about what the big pink bunny has and will do.

I for one think they are fucked!!!

I think they are not the best company to work for, but somehow they will claw their way out of the hole they dug themselves.

Am happy to see that you noted that they dug themselves.

One of the biggest problems that I have with the do-gooders is that they think that NOVA are being made an example of by the J-gov.

NOVA made their bed now they have to lie in it. I can't see how the company can overcome crippling debt, loss of brand image and payouts that will see the bank run dry. They are no longer advertising as they were, and students are pulling out and demanding refunds (smart people).

If they do get out it will only be because they greased enough palms and that is wrong!

I've never had a problem with Nova being punished for wrong-doing, I have a problem with people gleefully masturbating at the thought of its' demise.

And, now I don't have a problem with that.

But, I think Nova will find some way to survive.

This isn't Australia. Despite NOVA bleeding money someone will keep them afloat.

And you have to remember that NOVA doesn't supply a tangible product - its not like the beef croquet people who were totally screwed when their own scandal hit.

But they did steal real money for a service not preformed.

NOVA is now facing the second inquiry in a year and that can't be good for business, well not theirs anyway. since the news broke we have been putting students on every day and there seems to be no end to them. I would like to see an end to NOVA because there are many students that would join other schools if NOVA wasn't here, but while they are still afloat. many students are weary.

Just pull the trigger and let it be over with, then the rest of the entire English teaching industry can carry on with business.

Alas, I came to this site to escape my gambling addiction.

I'll wager Nova lives on, but what's the time-frame?
